Industry Conference Speakers
The Industry Conference is a two-day long event held in Dundee, the beating heart of Scotland’s games community. The conference features founders, pioneers, leaders and innovators from around the world, offering expertise and insight and from the forefront of the global games market.
The key trends from the forefront of games, as well as personal reflection and deep technical understanding are on offer from speakers which range from veteran global Scots, through to up-and-coming studios with their whole future ahead.
No matter your role within the games ecosystem, there’s something for every designer, developer, creator, publisher, educator, academic and organisation within the programme.





Luca's Bio
Luca has 4 years of experience as professional investors in Games, Esports/Streaming and Digital Sports/Wellness.
As Investment Director at Hiro Capital, Luca is responsible to assess, review and diligence opportunities in these verticals. Engineer by background and top-MA Management class at University of Westminster Business School, Luca’s expertise ranges from KPIs and metrics assessment to financial forecasts and business plan validation.
With many years of experience as market and business analyst Luca believes in the potential of highly scalable and mass market propositions.

David's Bio
David Mullich is a veteran game designer, director, and producer of more than 60 titles over his four-decade career.
His most popular titles include Heroes of Might & Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia for The 3DO Company, Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines for Activision, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream for Cyberdreams, and DuckTales for The Walt Disney Company.
More recently, David has focused on consulting and mentoring, serving on the team that developed the Game Design Merit Badge requirements and pamphlet for The Boy Scouts of America and directing the Game Design and Production degree program at The Los Angeles Film School.
He is currently a Game Design Professor at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Simon's Bio
Simon is an award-winning writer, designer and director who has been innovating in the narrative games space for the best part of 15 years.
His new studio, Stacking Chairs, is creating a bold new wave of third-person adventures aimed at a modern adult gamer market.
Simon brings a wealth of experience from across the creative industries and has worked with numerous games studios in a consultancy capacity for narrative design and IP development.
He is perhaps best known for his own game releases Beckett, which won the Scottish BAFTA and is featured in V&A Dundee’s gallery, and The 39 Steps.

Stephen’s Bio
Stephen’s career spans nearly 30 years of games PR, advertising, marketing and latterly the role of Marketing Director at EA studio, Chillingo.
Although Stephen loves games, he is terrible at them, but has a deep understanding of why people play games and what triggers people to buy them.
He is lucky enough to have worked on some stand out games and franchises from Worms, Lego Star Wars, Resident Evil, Cut The Rope and Micro Machines to WWE, FIFA, PES and other acronym based classics.
He now runs games marketing consultancy HeyStephenHey where his clients have included Red Bull, Merge, RevRooms, Northern Ireland Screen, Bossa Studios and Les Enfants Terribles. Stephen is a BAFTA and Ukie member and humbled to be an ambassador for the gamer’s charity, SpecialEffect.
