In conjunction with Scottish Games, who will be running a number of talks as part of their ‘More Than Games’ event on Monday the 24th, we will be hosting will an exhibition, with some amazing Scottish games businesses demoing their games and services. More Than Games Speakers
More Than Games is a first-of-its-kind event, highlighting the transformative potential of the games ecosystem to the wider digital and creative industries.
Attendees of More Than Games will be treated to presentations, provocation and panels covering topics from the convergence between games and screen, health, education, inclusion, transmedia and exploring how Scotland can harness the true power of creative media (spoiler: it’s by integrating games).

Kelly's Bio
Fun
Crafting a career in game development and tech for 30 years, Kelly has worked on some of the world’s most famous franchises.
Working at the top flight of video games has presented an increasing demand for understanding the gamification of concepts in other verticals from fashion to entertainment.
She loves pushing technology to its emergent edge through education, sustainability, and imagination. Kelly works around these verticals to educate, produce and develop the growth of new technologies in a changing world from the metaverse and NFT to hardware and trust.
Kelly has worked on a wide range of games: including the Tomb Raider series, Transformers and Candy Crush; she has worked with Adidas, Fila, Puma and on various LVMH projects for gamified products and services and more recently was the technical co-founder of the world’s first metaverse for children: Aequaland.
In October 2021 Kelly produced the first standard for NFTs in luxury and art and is the co-founder of NFT Consult.
Corporate
Kelly Vero has worked in game development and the tech industry for 30 years. Kelly has worked on some of the world’s most famous franchises and has worked on a wide range of games, including the Tomb Raider series, Transformers and Candy Crush.
Kelly has worked with Adidas, Fila, Puma and on various LVMH projects for gamified products and services, and more recently was the technical co-founder of the world’s first metaverse for children: Aequaland.
She is currently one of the top 100 Future Women of the World supported by Forbes Magazine.
Kelly’s memberships and compliance experience include Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule, Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command, and Chair of Video Games at European Commission’s Creative Europe 2013-2021.

Brian’s Bio
Brian Gomez is a game designer, writer, and executive producer with a 25-year career spanning triple-A console, mobile, VR, and mixed reality.
He has worked on global franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, and Jurassic World, and designed interactive experiences for Disney and Universal theme parks.
He has recently relocated to Dundee, Scotland as Executive Producer & Creative Director at 4J Studios Ltd.




Elena's Bio
Elena founded Yaldi Games with the mission to make games that inspire real life activities.
Being a startup games studio located in Edinburgh, Yaldi Games are working on their debut title Wholesome – Out and About (inspired by Elena’s personal foraging adventures), and have already won the Converge Creative Challenge, Young Scottish Edge, Young Innovators Awards and the UK Games Fund.

Adil's Bio
Adi Latif empowers organisations on how to best design an inclusive product/ service which can be used by all, increasing market share and providing disabled people equal access.
He is experienced in accessibility strategy, accessibility user testing and training.
He has over 20 years of experience in using screen-reader technology for the blind. Previous experience includes running 2 start-ups, and working for Accenture Global management consultancy.
When he is not working he loves hurtling himself down mountains on his snowboard and playing his guitar (but not both at the same time thankfully).

Chris’ Bio
Chris Cataldi is co-founder and COO of Genvid, a company established in 2016 to focus on exploring technology and design for a new form of community-driven interactive entertainment called Massively Interactive Live Events (MILEs).
Prior to Genvid, Chris was responsible for business development and strategic planning for Shinra Technologies, the cloud gaming subsidiary of Square Enix. Chris has more than a decade of experience working in Asia, and near-native Japanese language proficiency.
During this time, he worked in management consultancy (strategic due diligence and technology innovation for semiconductor manufacturing, IoT, and wearable computing for Japanese blue chip companies specializing in the B2B sector), and in global human resources and organizational strategy (Mitsubishi Corporation).
He is an avid amateur cook, and holds his MBA from Madrid’s IE Business School with a specialization in global management and entrepreneurship.
He also acts as an Associate Professor for IE Business School’s Global Advanced Management Program.

Mick’s Bio
Mick Cooke is a BAFTA-winning composer for film, TV and games.
He was a member of the BRIT award-winning band Belle & Sebastian for 15 years.
He has composed for animation since 2007, carving out a successful and varied career working with clients including Sesame Street, Nickelodeon and the BBC.
